Lurch (our great dane) went missing on one of the coldest nights of the year. He's a big dog, but still we were terrified that he wouldn't last the night at minus 26. We sent out our APB at 7 and by 11 we had him back. Another member had found him 6 blocks away wandering the alley. Thank you, LostPetsAPB.com!

What a fantastic service! Our dog, Brody, disappeared on Saturday morning at the dog park. We let him loose to run and got to talking to another couple in the park. A few minutes later we turned around and Brody was gone. We issued an APB and had Brody back by noon! Amazing.

We live near a very busy road and were absolutely frantic when our Husky, Grissom, got away. We were so afraid he’d be hit by a car. With your system we had him back safe the same day. Thank you, LostPetsAPB.com!

Salty had been missing for 3 days already when we found your site. We issued an APB right away and started putting out posters. It was past 10 and getting dark when we came home exhausted and I have to admit, feeling very discouraged. As we were getting ready for bed our phone rang. A neighbor less than two blocks away had found Salty under her deck. My husband walked over and coaxed her out. She was hungry but safe. The LostPetsAPB system really works!

Shortly after I joined I received an APB from a town almost 100 km away from where I live. I thought this was pushing things a little as it seemed pretty unlikely the lost dog (a black lab) was going to show up in my back yard. Two days later as I was driving into Red Deer for a part, what do I see but the missing black lab. I called my wife who looked up the number for the owner. I called the owner and followed the dog (he wouldn’t come to me) until she showed up. He was over 50k from home.

While I don’t own a pet at present I love being a part of this community. This is the kind of thing the web should be used for!

I have to admit I had given up hope. Our cat, Tina, had been missing for over a month. We had issued an APB when she first disappeared but as she’s an inside cat we really gave up hope after a couple of weeks. We let the system keep sending the reminder APB’s, though. It was only a few dollars and who knows? Anyway, imagine my shock when another member only a few blocks from us called to say she’d had Tina for two weeks! She had just registered a couple of days before when she received a reminder APB. It didn’t take long for her to realize that the ‘stray’ she had found was our missing cat.

After searching for weeks I had almost given up. I’d sent APB’s and put up I don’t know how many posters. When Cathy called to say she had found my cat I almost couldn’t believe it. Her back door had been open and Fester just wandered in. She recognized him right away from the poster I had put up at the library. The thing is, without your Pet Recovery Guide I never would have put up posters that far away from home. Thank you for all the encouraging emails that kept me looking. Fester is sitting on top of my monitor right now (warmest spot in the house).
